Gentlemen:
It was great to see many of you again a couple of Saturdays ago at our
initial HS meeting. Hopefully, you're all getting your bodies & minds
into football shape. As a reminder, for those looking to work Pop
Warner this season (1st, 2nd & 3rd year officials are strongly
encouraged to join), and are not current members of the PWOA, please
contact me asap with your desire to join the group. I will immediately
send you an invitation through Arbiter. Games begin on Sept.
1st and run about 10 weeks.
Our annual official's meeting will take place on Monday, Aug. 13 - 6 PM
@ Garden Grove Sports & Recreation Center - 13641 Deodara Dr., Garden
Grove 92844 (located right across from Bolsa Grande HS Stadium). The
make-up meeting will be held on Monday, Aug. 27 - 6 PM @ Bellflower HS.
Please don't delay in sending me your request to join the group.
I guarantee my guys 2-5 games each Saturday, based on availability. If
you have preferred partners, I will try to accommodate. Should any of
you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact
me. In addition, a short meeting will follow for those that wish to
work the Parochial flag football league as well (games played M-TH, 3:30
PM starts).
